Greetings one and all and thank you for your
taking time to read. On behalf of the members and officers of the Knights
of Saint Andrew - Winston Salem Chapter, welcome to this page. The KSA is
a service organization that is open to all 32º Scottish Rite Masons. We are
instituted for the purpose of encouraging work within the Scottish Rite, to plan
and prepare events, to contribute to the very noble and various jobs related to
putting together our twice-annual reunions, and to encourage charitable giving.
In short, the KSA should not be considered a group with interests beyond the
Scottish Rite, but one that seeks only to unite those who want to learn and to
show leadership and initiative as Scottish Rite Masons. We all joined the
Scottish Rite for different reasons, and we all have something of ourselves that
we can give back. I encourage you all to join and participate, as we are
looking forward to 2010 to be a year of great accomplishment for us. While
we open our active memberships only to black caps, let me assure you that we
welcome our emeritus and honorary members, and encourage them as well to
participate. I encourage you, if you are a member of the Winston-Salem
Scottish Rite, to contact me for further information via email at
davgrimes@gmail.com
But let me continue, as this is a rare
opportunity as a Scottish Rite Mason to address a broader audience.
I want to encourage anyone who has made their way to this page to take a look at the Scottish Rite, Freemasonry, and their potential impact in your community. Research our charitable work with the RiteCare program and our many other worthy social programs. The Scottish Rite and Knights of Saint Andrew exist, as all men should strive to exist, to serve and support each other and the world at large.
